Thordrive is seeking an entry to mid-level Purchasing Analyst to join our team. This position will be responsible for the purchasing and inventory processes, from reviewing requests, placing orders, to receiving and inventorying goods. In order to be successful in this position, you will need to have a strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy of information. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review purchase requests from employees for completeness and accuracy
  • Place all approved orders in a timely manner
  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs), submit them to vendors, and confirm receipt
  • Keep record of all receipts and confirm prices for accounting accuracy
  • Track packages and answer related employee inquiries
  • Review and audit outstanding orders list regularly and work with vendors on any issues
  • Handle all refunds and replacements
  • Log submission of invoices from vendors
  • Issue payment or direct payment requests to the proper personnel
  • Receive all packages, alert employees, and complete basic inventorying
  • Assist in the evolution of the purchasing process
  • Additional related tasks and duties as needed Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Support strategic purchasing, inventory, planning road map to support ThorDrive's growth plan
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in purchasing process
  • Implement the following systems as needed: Dedicated Purchase Order Platform Record Retention Policy & Procedures Auditing of Purchases Advanced Inventory / Production Forecasting + Support Supplier Relations Requirements:
  • Flexible team player who enjoys a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment
  • Experience with G Suite or Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, push utility carts, and lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
